Below is our privacy policy and how we handle data.

PRIVACY POLICY

THEY improv does not randomly collect or store data. We do not look at internet traffic reports, we do not use cookies, and we do not track Internet traffic in any way, shape or form. If you share your information with us to obtain a quote or to hire us, we use it for that purpose. We may follow-up after a show, though we rarely do. We share such information with our performers, who are often independent contractors. Even then, we limit that data to what is needed and rarely even share our clients' email addresses with them. We do not sell such data or use it for marketing purposes. We may share the names of companies that we have performed for and we may share a phone number if we use you as a reference for work performed. Even when doing so, that data is restricted and we are not paid for such information.

First, it's important to understand how we operate. We consult with your group to find out what you need and to provide you with an approach that will work. Next we do a lot of going back and forth with your group, the venue and lastly the performers for your event.

This means that we have some information, but it is only for the purpose of communication back and forth and not with unrelated third parties.

Murder Mysteries

Our cast of detectives, mysterious suspects and plots are customized to our clients at venues of their choosing. We have different approaches to fit almost any group.

Game Shows

We engage the competitive spirit by challenging audience members to do battle in front of their friends and coworkers. Ask us about your particular needs and we can come up with a version for you.

Improv Comedy Shows

Improvisational comedy is a great way to have an ensemble entertain your group in a relaxed atmosphere. We can use this to get people laughing and having a shared experience.

Talk Shows

A slightly more formal approach for larger groups can be a talk show to discuss issues of importance or simply put people on the spot to provide humor.

Team Building Workshops

Getting employees to work together while potentially training for specific skill sets is what we do. Allow us to analyze your needs and come up with a plan!

Activities

From Scavenger Hunts to Mini-Olympiads or other group activities, we have a selection of programs that can get people working together in unique ways.

We also serve all major tourist destinations that are used for corporate meetings and incentives retreats including Niagara Falls, Banff, Whistler and Victoria.

SOMETIMES NON-LOCAL

There are some circumstances that we might use personnel that are not local. This may need some documentation and other procedures for the production. If your company has the means to assist in the process, it could reduce the cost to your company. Just let us know. This is only when local talent can not perform the requested functions.

We operate as a 50/50 entity. This means that 50% of the fee is due at the time of contracting for the event. The last 50% is due one-week prior to the event. Due to the international nature of the transaction trying to collect after the fact is made very difficult and is not a possibility. We have a sterling reputation and the damage to our reputation for not performing and then attempting to keep the money would be far greater than our fee would be worth.

ALBERTA

With Banff as a major destination for corporate retreats, we can provide a wide range of services. We also serve Calgary and Edmonton.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Whistler is a major destination for corporate retreats and is within range of our Vancouver regional HQ. We also serve the rest of the area and Victoria.

MANITOBA

We can help the companies and clients in Winnipeg as well as through the larger area as needed.

NOVA SCOTIA

We are proud to provide our programs from our regional HQ in Halifax. This allows for major consulting for local companies.

ONTARIO

Toronto is our regional HQ for Ontario, but we are proud to serve Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Ottawa, London and Windsor.

QUEBEC

While focused on our English-speaking clients, we provide our programs in Montreal, Quebec City and throughout the province. We serve the market with less providers.
